Hope Ranch Learning Academy, a vibrant Christian Private K-12 school in Hudson, Florida, is seeking a passionate 12th Grade Teacher. We are dedicated to fostering a supportive environment where students with special needs can thrive academically and personally.

Position Overview: As a 12th Grade Teacher, you will:

• Lead engaging classroom instruction across various subjects, with class sizes no larger than 16 students.
• Develop and implement creative lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and aligned with curriculum goals.
• Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes student safety, well-being, and growth.
• Collaborate with a dedicated Teaching Assistant and school administration to support student success.
• Organize community outings and Vocational Rehab Work-Based Learning Experiences, encouraging students to give back to the community.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (REQUIRED)
• 4+ years of teaching experience (REQUIRED)
• Valid Florida Teaching License and certification (Preferred)
• Experience working with students with special needs (Preferred)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Comfortable working in a Christian school setting

About Hope Ranch Learning Academy:

Our non-Denominational Christian Private School is set on a wooded horse ranch, and we focus on students with Autism and other learning disabilities. We use innovative teaching and classroom management techniques which include the Teaching Family Model and horse interaction as part of the academic experience.Classrooms consist of 1 Lead Teacher, 1-2 Teaching Assistants and a maximum of 15 students. The Elementary classroom has a 5:1 Student to Instructor ratio and our Middle and High School Classroom has a max of 8:1 Student to Instructor ratio.
