Apprentice Electrician  (Commercial)  – What You Will Do

You will work on commercial job sites – commercial buildings, medical offices, universities, retail centers, parking structures - within Houston and the surrounding areas (no overnight travel!) Ideal schedule is 6:00am - 2:30pm schedule, depending on jobsite.

• Install new electrical in commercial buildings using measuring instruments and hand tools to measure, cut and bend wire and conduit
• Perform electrical installations – wire, conduit and electrical components
• Wall rough-in, deck rough-in, conduit rough-in, fixtures rough-in
• Examine and inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites, ensuring safety and that work is performed to project specifications

You will drive your own vehicle and tools to job sites.

Apprentice Electrician (Commercial) – You Must Have:

• Prior experience in a commercial electrician role (limited experience up to years of experience – opportunity is waiting for you at all levels!)
• Reliable transportation to jobsites
• Knowledge of tape measure fundamentals
• Provide your own tools to utilize at the job site
• Successful completion of a drug test and background check required prior to start date

You will take a skills assessment to determine your level of experience and rate of pay. Compensation $15.75 to $27 per hour + potential for overtime (dependent on your level of experience) and additional bonus potential. May include vehicle stipend.
