As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a financial institution location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring assigned areas, responding to incidents, and providing outstanding customer service while carrying out armed duties. You will play a key role in creating a secure environment for clients and visitors, all while upholding Allied Universal's values of integrity, teamwork, and a people-first culture. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and professional setting. **Position Type: Full Time** **Pay Rate: $42 / Hour** **What You'll Do:** + Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites + Support operations across a commercial real estate property + Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams + Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service + Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise **Responsibilities:** + Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. + Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. + Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry. + Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors. + Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and activities during each shift. + Work collaboratively with local law enforcement and emergency services when required. + Carry and maintain assigned firearms and equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies and applicable laws. **What We're Looking For:** + Availability across various days and shifts + Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments + A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company + Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available **Minimum Requirements:** + Must be retired NYPD or Corrections + Possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit. + Possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License. + Possess a valid Law Enforcement Officer License. + Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. + Participate in industry-specific security training programs. + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. + A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. **Why Join Us:** + Flexible Scheduling: Choose from a variety of open shifts that align with your availability and lifestyle. + Career Growth: Clear path to full-time roles and ongoing advancement through paid training programs. + Smart Tools: Access exclusive technology for real-time shift visibility and claiming. + Full-Time Benefits: Health insurance, 401(k) plans, and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees. + Employee Perks: Enjoy discounts at restaurants, entertainment venues, and more through our perks program.
