Assistant Director, Prospect Management Posting Number: SP004708P Division/College: University Foundation Department: University Foundation Location: Moscow Posting Context Statement: Position Overview: This position plays a role in supporting fundraising efforts by providing strategic insights into data to improve fundraising performance. Using business intelligence and prospect research tools, this position supports the effort to prioritize prospects within fundraisers portfolios in addition to the overall Foundation effort. The assistant director works with peers and supervisors to establish annual goals and objectives for the department. Duties may include: Utilize prospect data to identify, segment and prioritize potential major donors Analyze donor giving patterns, wealth indicators and affinity to tailor fundraising strategies Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards to communicate insights and recommendation to key stakeholders Conduct in-depth research on individuals, corporations and foundations to assess giving capacity and philanthropic interests Ensure the accuracy, completeness and integrity of prospect data within the CRM database Serve as a resource for best practices in prospect research and data-driven fundraising strategies Other duties as assigned Required Experience: Seven years of research experience in development or related professional area which includes: Experience with online databases and services, information resources, data visualization, reporting, and data management Experience with conducting complex analytical research and data management Experience collecting, combining and reporting on large data sets Experience in project management A Bachelors Degree may substitute for four years of the above experience Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Required Other: None Additional Preferred: Knowledge of development activities, preferably in higher education Experience with various research resources such as LexisNexis, ResearchPoint, iWave Pro, and/or public records Experience with prospect identification strategies and research techniques Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills as demonstrated in application materials Physical Requirements & Working Conditions: None Degree Requirement: N/A: No degree requirement FLSA Status: Exempt Employee Category: Exempt Pay Range: $60,008 or higher commiserate with experience Type of Appointment: _of_Appointment FTE: 1 Full Time/Part Time: Full Time Funding: A visa sponsorship is available for the position listed in this vacancy: No Posting Date: 01/10/2025 Closing Date: Open Until Filled: Yes Special Instructions to Applicants: To receive first consideration, please submit a letter of qualification, current resume, and references (last 3 supervisors) no later than February 10, 2025.
