We are currently hiring full-time teachers right away! Duties You will be working under the lead teacher and learning the following:
- Plan & Lead Activities: Create engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans.
- Ensure Safety & Well-Being: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom while following all health and safety guidelines.
- Daily Care & Routines: Support children with feeding and diapering while fostering independence.
- Family Communication: Build strong relationships with families through open, professional communication and bi-annual conferences.
- Child Development & Assessment: Maintain child portfolios, track milestones, and adjust learning experiences to individual needs.
- Compliance & Best Practices: Follow HighScope, Youngstar, and DCF standards while engaging in ongoing professional development.
- Team Collaboration & Support: Work closely with co-teachers and assist other classrooms when needed.
Requirements - Highschool diploma or equivalent
- Passionate about working with children
- Ability to build strong bonds with the children and families
- Positive, patient, and engaging demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experiences in childcare or teaching (preferred)
- CPR and First Aid certified (preferred)
