Position Title:  CASHIER- Kohl Center Arena

Pay : $17 + tips

Job Summary

Summary: Performs cashiering duties at UW-Madison concession stands during Badger Sporting Events, including making transactions, interacting with customers, and counting inventory. Will also perform general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in the preparation, service and dining room facilities.

• Performs sales transactions in a timely fashion.
• Enters all sales into the register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded.
• Follows standard procedures of sales.
• Interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Observes customer purchases to ensure quality of product served.
• Replenishes condiments, food, other beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service areas.
• Ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory procedures.
• Ensures compliance with all sanitation, ServSafe, and safety requirements.
• Ensures alcohol is served in compliance with Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines. 
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be willing to earn ServSafe certification.
• Must be available to work weekday evenings and weekends.
