Key Responsibilities - Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings and facilities.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, identify faults, and perform necessary repairs.
- Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Install and test wiring, circuit breakers, panels, lighting, and control systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure reliability of electrical systems.
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and project managers on job sites.
- Operate lifts, booms, and other equipment as needed for installations.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on jobs.
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite while adhering to all workplace safety standards.
Qualifications - Experience as a Commercial Electrician or in a similar electrical role.
- Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical documents.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience operating lifts, booms, and other job-related equipment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- OSHA and safety training certifications (preferred but not required).
