Job Description

Description Robert Half is currently recruiting for an experienced Controller to oversee and manage financial operations for our client in the Tri-cities area. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting strategic business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management and a proven ability to lead teams effectively. Responsibilities: - Supervise all aspects of accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and journal entries. - Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with US GAAP standards. - Lead month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure all financial records are up to date. - Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts to support organizational goals. - Conduct variance analysis and KPI reporting to measure financial performance. - Manage intercompany accounting and fixed asset accounting processes. - Perform audit preparation and ensure readiness for external audits. - Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency. - Analyze financial trends and provide insights to support business decision-making. - Collaborate with senior management to align financial strategies with company objectives. The position is 100% onsite and will require someone to live in the Tri-Cities. For immediate consideration please contact Lisa Coker at 865-370-2084 to set up an interview Requirements - A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management or accounting roles. - Proficiency in Epicor and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred. - Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial statement preparation. - Strong understanding of US GAAP and general accounting principles. - Demonstrated experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and journal entries. - Ability to perform variance and trend analysis to support strategic planning. - Excellent organizational and leadership skills with attention to detail.
