Texoma Medical Center , a 414-bed acute care facility has been providing quality health care to the residents of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma since 1965. Under the direction of the Director of Risk Management, the Coordinator of Risk Management is responsible for the ongoing, effective operation of Risk Management activities in the acute care facility, rehab, outpatient facilities, and offsite locations. Such responsibilities include incorporation of the Corporate Risk Management TERM program. The Coordinator supports an organizational culture of Safety and practices the Service Excellence standards to all customer
groups.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting
A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a high patient volume acute care hospital. Experience in healthcare Risk Management preferred
RN or other clinical license preferred. Certification in Healthcare Risk Management preferred
Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrates ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast pace environment. Maintains professional approach to handling confidential information. Computer literate in MS Office Applications. Familiar with MIDAS or similar Risk Management systems. Able to perform analysis of data to compile reports for presentation. Must have excellent investigative skills and able to complete review of records to
compile necessary reports.
