At M&M Industries, our plastic packaging lines don’t stop—because people count on them. We’re looking for a Reliability Technician (level III scope) who asks the right questions, zeros in on root causes, and keeps injection molding equipment performing at its best.

What you’ll own

• Uptime and compliance across injection molding machines, auxiliaries, and plant systems.
• Troubleshooting of servos, sensors, and control components—backed by data from drives, controllers, and diagnostic tools.
• Repair and calibration of electro-mechanical and instrumentation equipment; alignment of circuitry and components with documented results.
• Commissioning and verification of newly installed equipment under real production conditions.
• Preventive maintenance execution and accurate, on-time documentation.
• Maintenance records: equipment usage, parts replacement, and scheduled PMs to maximize functionality.
• Root cause investigations into downtime, poor performance, non-conforming product, and scrap—plus clear communication to leads and supervisors.
• Hands-on support for engineering: assemble prototype circuitry, follow manuals/specs, and suggest design/circuit changes to simplify build and service.
• 5S discipline—clean, organized, and ready-to-work spaces.
• Preparing work areas so tools/materials are staged and functional; assisting in training new teammates.

Technical stack you’ll touch

• Solid-state motor drives, temperature controllers, and computer-based control systems.
• IML (In‑Mold Labeling) setup and troubleshooting; heat transfer equipment setup/troubleshooting.
• Meters, gauges, oscilloscopes, and similar diagnostic gear.
• PLC logic basics and Excel for logging, trending, and reporting.

What you bring

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. (required); Technical 2‑year degree or equivalent experience (preferred).
• 3+ years Industrial Maintenance experience (required).
• 2+ years electronics-related experience (preferred).
• Fluency in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems; strong knowledge of machines and tools.
• Understanding of Food Safety, GMP, PRP, and HACCP for food-contact packaging (as applicable).
• Independent work style with a quality-first mindset.

Physical realities of the job

• Lift/carry 25–50 lbs frequently; occasionally assist with 75+ lbs.
• Expect bending, stooping, stretching, and ladder work.
• Variable temperatures on the floor; PPE always required (safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.).
