Role Description The Email Marketer is responsible for building and optimizing drvn’s email marketing programs from the ground up. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role combines strategic planning and hands-on execution to deliver engaging, on-brand campaigns. The Email Marketer will create automated workflows, segment customer lists, and test new email formats to drive conversions and support drvn’s broader marketing and sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities Strategy & Campaign Development
- Design and implement email campaigns aligned with marketing goals, ensuring messaging resonates with key audiences.
- Develop automated workflows using tools like MailChimp and Make.com, optimizing for lead nurturing, customer retention, and overall engagement.
- List Management & Segmentation
- Segment subscriber lists based on behavior, demographics, and engagement levels to deliver targeted, relevant content.
- Maintain best practices for list hygiene and compliance with relevant regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc.).
Content & Template Creation
- Collaborate with creative teams to design email templates using HTML/CSS, ensuring they meet brand standards and display correctly across devices.
- Develop persuasive, concise copy that aligns with drvn’s premium brand voice.
Testing & Optimization
- Conduct A/B tests on subject lines, layouts, and offers to improve open rates, click-throughs, and conversions.
- Analyze performance metrics (open rates, CTRs, conversions) to identify patterns, refine strategies, and inform new campaigns.
Reporting & Analysis
- Track email performance metrics; compile findings into actionable insights for Marketing, Sales, and Leadership teams.
- Propose improvements for existing workflows, design elements, and messaging based on data-driven learnings.
Qualifications And Skills - Email Marketing Experience: Demonstrated success in creating, executing, and measuring email marketing campaigns.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with MailChimp, Make.com (or similar automation tools), and HTML/CSS for email templates.
- Analytics Mindset: Comfortable interpreting data from email platforms (e.g., open rates, CTRs) and translating insights into strategy refinements.
- Compliance & Deliverability: Familiarity with email regulations and best practices to maintain deliverability and avoid spam filters.
- Copywriting & Editing: Ability to craft concise, compelling email copy that aligns with drvn’s premium brand voice.
- Collaboration: Proven track record of working closely with creative, sales, and marketing teams to achieve shared goals.
