We are committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and we welcome professionals who share our mission of healing and service. **Position Summary** As an ED Tech, you will provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, assisting medical providers and licensed nurses in delivering high-quality, compassionate care. This role is vital in supporting the fast-paced environment of a Level 1 Trauma Center. **Key Responsibilities** + Assist with patient hygiene, mobility, nutrition, and elimination needs + Support admission, discharge, and transfer processes + Perform phlebotomy and EKGs (if certified) + Maintain a safe and clean environment + Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff + Stock supplies and ensure equipment readiness + Attend dysrhythmia training and pass required assessments **Qualifications** + High School Diploma or GED required + EMT-B, Medical Assistant, or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred + Acute care experience in an ED setting preferred + Current AHA BLS CPR Certification required + Ability to read, write, and perform basic math + Must pass background check and drug screening **Benefits** + Health Insurance starting Day 1 + Tuition reimbursement + Paid time off + Retirement plan with employer match + Career growth and advancement opportunities + Inclusive and mission-driven workplace culture **Ministry/Facility Information** Saint Francis Hospital has been an anchor institution in Connecticut since 1897.
