WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: EXPERIENCED FAMILY LAW ATTORNEY

JR Law Group is looking for an experienced and passionate family law attorney to join our dynamic team. We need someone with ambition to create a fulfilling and non-stagnant future and career at JR Law. With team collaboration and ample resources and support, our ideal candidate will lead clients through their cases from start to finish. We are looking for someone who is open to providing mentorship to junior lawyers and interested in growth opportunities.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

You must have a passion for family law and (unrelated but essential for coping) a sense of humor. You are ambitious with a growth mindset. You communicate excellently with clients and the team and offer creative solutions to family law issues. You have initiative and desire to and be part of a growing firm filled with opportunities.

Competency for this requires:

• You are an efficient and effective communicator with clients, team members and all parties involved
• You have excellent writing skills and can handle drafting the various motions, memoranda, and case pleadings
• You embrace technology and consistently use the teams’ systems and practices to uncover a detailed and accurate financial picture for each case
• You are a skilled negotiator and can successfully navigate mediation; you also are courtroom savvy and able to handle court hearings, and trial if needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ideally you have family law experience and are able to navigate your cases from start to finish. You are interested in future growth, open to management opportunities within the firm, and enjoy mentoring junior lawyers.

must have:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA)
• Active Utah state bar license or license from states with reciprocity
• 3+ years in family law
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and project management skills
