**Job Title: Sit Down Forklift Operator/Material Handler** **$19 to $20.00/hour** **Job Description** You will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of keeping our machine operators producing at high efficiency standards **Responsibilities** + Operate a sit-down forklift to perform material handling + Supply the machines with materials + Operate machines to process materials + Load materials, set measurements, and initiate packaging process. + Wrap finished products and prepare them for shipping. + Track all operations + Inspect for quality, **Essential Skills** + Three years of Experience operating sit-down forklifts + Proficiency in using basic math skills. + Ability to lift up to 40 lbs throughout the shift. + Experience with machine operation and material handling. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Strong attention to detail. + Competency in completing paperwork. + Mechanically inclined and comfortable operating machinery + Quality-focused mindset. **Why Work Here?** This is a long term opportunity. Once hired, you will receive competitive benefits within 30 days of full-time employment. **Work Environment** Manufacturing work environment Steel-toed boots are required, Shift schedule is Monday to Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, with potential early starts and weekend hours as needed Up to 50-hours/week . **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
