They are seeking a Junior Loan Analyst to support their loan underwriting and credit evaluation processes. This entry-level opportunity offers a strong career path in banking, finance, and credit analysis while providing hands-on exposure to loan documentation, credit assessments, and risk review.
Job Description The Junior Loan Analyst will assist in the review and analysis of loan applications to ensure completeness and accuracy. This role supports senior analysts by conducting preliminary financial analyses, reviewing credit reports and financial statements, and helping prepare loan proposals and internal presentations. The position also maintains organized loan files, monitors application status throughout the approval workflow, and ensures adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and documentation standards.
Qualifications Required - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general data analysis tools
- Solid understanding of financial statements and basic credit analysis concepts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
- High level of organization with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proactive, eager-to-learn mindset with a commitment to accuracy and compliance
Preferred - Internship or coursework in financial analysis, commercial lending, or credit evaluation
- Familiarity with loan underwriting processes, lending regulations, and loan-management software
