Position: Mechanical Technician – New Plant Opening
Salary: Up to $37/hour + prime and 3 annual bonuses!

What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 1 year of experience in maintenance
- Background in manufacturing or production environments
- Ability to work day, evening, or night shifts on a steady schedule
- Willingness to travel within Canada and the U.S. for a few weeks of fully paid training before being fully based in Belvidere
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and accountability across all maintenance shifts in a fully automated environment
- Develop and manage performance reports; track KPIs and analyze recurring system faults
- Collaborate with the Site Manager to enhance maintenance procedures and meet service level goals
- Ensure proper staffing and scheduling for all maintenance teams; manage overtime and monitor efficiency
- Oversee use of the Witron Computerized Management System and ensure all scheduled, corrective, and preventive maintenance activities are completed
- Coach and mentor team members, fostering continuous improvement and ongoing skill development
- Maximize equipment uptime through effective execution of reactive and scheduled maintenance strategies
