Job Description

An exciting part-time opportunity is available for a motivated medical assistant in our Brainwave Optimization Department at the Center for Brainwave Wellness in Branford, CT. We are seeking an individual with strong tech skills, a thirst for knowledge, skilled in creating organizational systems, exceptional eye for detail, great people skills, and open to working with individuals undergoing mental health therapy. This role offers room for professional advancement and development. No prior experience in brainwave optimization required as we provide training. The position entails around 20 hours weekly with in-person presence necessary at our Branford, CT location. Training in brainwave optimization administration will be given under the guidance of a clinical mental health specialist Requirements: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree The ideal candidate will view this role as a potential career path. Our varied client base includes adults and children dealing with conditions like Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Insomnia, Learning Disorders, PTSD, and Brain Injury, as well as those interested in neurofeedback training for "peak performance."   • Conducting neurofeedback sessions by placing EEG caps on clients, setting up software programs, ensuring accuracy, monitoring for technical issues, and removing caps after sessions
  • Sanitizing EEG caps and neurofeedback rooms in between patient appointments
  • Engaging with individuals with behavioral health concerns in a professional manner
  • Completing documentation in the electronic health record system
  • Creating and implementing effective organizational systems
  • Uploading QEEG data to a shared folder for analysis
  • Assisting with various administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • Able to work collaboratively with other technicians, administrative staff, and clinicians
  • Responsible and reliable
  • Ability to work approximately 20 hours per week
