Job Description

EthsosEnergy is currently seeking an NDT Inspector Certified 1st class inspector to help support the Houston, TX facility. Who will help maintain the NDT line IAW EEA&C procedures and work instructions. Performs daily NDT inspection of parts and components.

Job Responsibilities

  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Performs daily NDT system checks and documents the results.
  • Performs NDT inspection of material per the appropriate WI’s, product manuals, and work instructions.
  • Maintains a daily NDT log of all parts processed.
  • Performs NDT training to delegated Level I and trainee NDT Inspectors.

Required Skills / Knowledge

  • Ability to successfully train inspection techniques and methods to help develop other NDE inspectors and other shop employees in inspection tech
  • Ability to have technical discussion with internal and external teams/personnel to drive defect classification reasoning and help determine best path forward for repairs regarding inspection techniques used.
  • Knowledge of company’s policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of various shop hand tools
  • Skilled in use of various hand tool
  • Must have completed the training hours as required by ASNT SNT-TC-1A (Latest Edition) for the methods as outlined in Table 1 below. (Level I & Level II) Skilled in oral and written communication (English)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to organize workload to meet deadlines
  • Ability to communicate effectively (both written and oral)
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English per FAA Regulations
  • Ability to use specified hand tools to achieve desired results
  • Ability to think and concentrate for long periods of time
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to train others as required
  • Ability to be flexible with work schedule
  • Ability to learn tasks required to perform the job . Must have up to date certs.
