Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Registered Dietitian to join our remote team at PrimaryMD. The ideal candidate will provide expert nutritional guidance to our premium clientele, supporting our concierge medicine model with personalized dietary plans and ongoing nutritional support.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct 30-minute initial nutritional consultations for new patients
• Perform quarterly check-ins with existing patients to review progress and adjust nutritional plans
• Develop personalized, evidence-based nutrition plans tailored to each patient's health goals, medical conditions, and lifestyle
• Collaborate with our physicians and health coaches to ensure integrated, holistic care
• Provide education on nutrition, healthy eating habits, and lifestyle modifications
• Assist in the interpretation of laboratory results related to nutrition
• Stay current with the latest research in nutrition and dietetics, particularly in areas relevant to our clientele (e.g., anti-aging, metabolic health, hormone balance)
• Maintain detailed records of patient consultations and progress
• Participate in team meetings and case discussions as needed

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian (RD) credential required
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in nutrition counseling, preferably in a clinical or private practice setting
• Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy for various health conditions common in the 40-65 age group
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience in telemedicine or remote patient counseling
• Proficiency in using electronic health records and telehealth platforms
• Certification in specialized areas such as sports nutrition, diabetes education, or functional nutrition is a plus
