Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and licensed Special Education Teacher to provide remote support for K-12 students across Washington. This independent contractor role offers the unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact while enjoying the flexibility and convenience of working from home for the 2024-2025 school year.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging virtual lessons tailored to meet the individual needs outlined in students' IEPs.
Monitor student progress regularly, providing updates to both families and staff.
Collaborate with school teams to develop effective strategies for academic success and growth.
Create a positive and supportive virtual learning environment for students.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records through online documentation systems.

Contract Type: Independent Contractor
Duration: Immediate start through May 2025
Caseload: K-12 students

Qualifications:
Valid Special Education teaching certification in Washington state.
Minimum of two years' experience working in special education.
Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and online documentation systems.
Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with students and their families remotely.
