Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team and provide crucial speech therapy services to K-12 students in Florida for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while making a meaningful impact on students' speech and language development through teletherapy.
As a Virtual SLP, you'll assess and treat speech and language disorders, create individualized therapy plans, and work closely with educational teams—all through a user-friendly, secure online platform. You'll also have access to a variety of resources to enhance your therapy sessions and a supportive team to help you with everything from therapy strategies to technical platform assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide virtual speech therapy to K-12 students within a Florida school district using a secure online platform.
Conduct speech assessments, create personalized treatment plans, and implement interventions for students with speech and language challenges.
Keep accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions, student progress, and modifications to treatment plans.
Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to track student progress and adjust therapy as needed.
Use digital tools and resources to deliver engaging virtual lessons and exercises that enhance student participation.
Stay informed on best practices in teletherapy and speech-language pathology, adapting them effectively for a virtual environment.

Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Florida.
ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) is preferred, but not required.
Previous experience working with K-12 students in a school setting is preferred.
Experience or comfort with teletherapy or using online platforms for therapy is a plus.
Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
Ability to create an engaging and supportive virtual environment for students using digital tools and resources.
