Job Description

Damerow Ford is seeking a reliable, customer-focused Pickup and Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery and pickup of automotive parts and vehicles between our dealership and various customers, businesses, and vendors. The ideal candidate is punctual, organized, and professional, with excellent customer service skills and a strong sense of direction. Benefits:

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently deliver automotive vehicles and parts to wholesale customers, service shops, and internal departments
• Pick up parts and returns as needed from vendors and customers
• Maintain an accurate delivery log and ensure all paperwork is properly completed and submitted
• Conduct basic inspections of delivery vehicle to ensure it's in good operating condition
• Provide excellent service during interactions with customers, representing the dealership in a professional manner
• Assist the parts department with stocking, organizing inventory, and other support tasks when not driving
• Adhere to all company and traffic safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous delivery driving or automotive parts experience preferred
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ford Knowledge: Familiarity with Ford parts is a plus, but not required
• Driving Skills: Strong attention to detail and time management while operating delivery routes
• Problem Solving: Ability to handle route issues, such as traffic or missing parts, professionally and calmly
• Communication: Courteous, clear communication skills with customers and team members
• Technology: Comfortable using delivery tracking software or mobile apps
• Attitude: Dependable, punctual, and eager to support the team wherever needed
• License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required
