Plant Manager | Caledonia, MI

Salary Range: $143,000 - $194,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily plant operations, ensuring efficient and high-quality production.
• Manage and optimize production schedules, staffing, and resource allocation to meet targets.
• Develop and manage the plant budget, controlling costs and identifying efficiency improvements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop plant personnel, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental policies.
• Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational excellence and productivity.
• Oversee maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing plant, with at least 3-5 years in a Plant Manager or similar senior operational role.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
• Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong financial acumen, including P&L management, budgeting, and cost control.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop large, diverse teams.
• Comprehensive understanding and commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• MBA or other advanced business degree
• Proven experience with advanced manufacturing technologies and automation implementation
• Strong background in ERP system optimization and data analytics for operational insights
