This is an on-call/as-needed position as it is based on snowfall. Hours will vary.
Pay: $15-$18/hour. Experience plays a role.
You will be plowing for commercial lots as well as residential areas.
Typically, if it snows later in the day, you may have to go out between 2-3 am and begin working on commercial lots, then break off and work on the residential areas. If in snows during the day, you will most likely begin with the residential areas and then move to the commercial lots.
Plans are always communicated and there is generally a heads up on a predicted storm so you can be prepared.
A company truck will be provided, however it is required to have a valid Driver License and a reliable vehicle to get to and from the shop.
It is also highly recommended to keep an eye on the weather to gauge when you will be called out.
