Eastridge Workforce Solutions is a leading provider of workforce management solutions, committed to connecting skilled professionals with meaningful career opportunities. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced 1st Shift Production Supervisor to join our metals manufacturing team. This position oversees production operations in a newly established facility, leading a team of up to 30 production and quality technicians. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring operational efficiency, troubleshooting production challenges, and maintaining product quality standards. This role offers significant growth potential, with a strong possibility of promotion to a management position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise 1st shift operations, including production, quality, and maintenance activities.
• Train and develop production staff, ensuring adherence to safety and quality protocols.
• Lead the maintenance team and machine operators to resolve production and equipment issues effectively.
• Oversee quality assurance, including basic interpretation of technical drawings to ensure production standards.
• Troubleshoot machine and production issues, maintaining uptime and operational efficiency.
• Manage and track production schedules, materials, and processes using ERP systems and Excel.
• Foster a safe, efficient, and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications:

• Bilingual (Spanish) – Preferred .
• Proven supervisory experience in a metals manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with troubleshooting production equipment and processes.
• Familiarity with quality control practices and basic technical drawings.
• Strong training and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and develop teams.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Excel for production tracking and reporting.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
