We're seeking an experienced Senior Quality Manager to lead our quality control initiatives at our paper manufacturing facility in Waco, TX. This pivotal role will oversee product quality, manage customer relationships, and drive continuous improvement in our quality systems.
Key Responsibilities• Oversee and enhance quality control processes for paper production
• Manage and resolve customer feedback and complaints promptly
• Conduct and document product trials, maintaining detailed records
• Liaison between customers and production teams to address concerns
• Maintain FDA-approved chemical lists and document control systems
• Lead and develop the quality control team
• Collaborate with Sales and Corporate Customer Technical Services
• Manage Technical Lab activities and reporting
• 5-7 years of quality manufacturing experience, including 3+ years in leadership
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Engineering, Chemistry, or related)
• Extensive experience in the paper/packaging industry
• Proficiency in quality control methodologies and test lab procedures
• Strong knowledge of printing press runnability
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and SAP
• Willingness to travel for customer visits and participate in on-call rotations
