We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. This position will primarily focus on providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy services to children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) within a natural learning environment in their inclusive early learning classroom. The RBT will work closely with the child's Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans, collect data, and provide ongoing support to the child and their family. BCBA's supervise at minimum 5% of services provided. Direct Service Delivery: Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by the BCBA, including limited discrete trial training (DTT), natural environment training (NET), and other evidence-based practices.Provide one-on-one and group ABA therapy sessions within the child care classroom setting.Assist children in developing essential life skills, such as communication, social skills, self-help skills, and academic skills.Collect accurate and timely data on client progress using various data collection methods (e.g., frequency, duration, percentage). All session notes are due within 24 hours of service being delivered.Maintain clear and concise documentation of all services provided.Effectively communicate with the BCBA regarding client progress, challenges, and any necessary adjustments to the treatment plan.Collaborate with the child care staff to ensure a smooth transition between ABA therapy sessions and classroom activities.Provide support to the child care staff in implementing classroom strategies to support the child's development. Classroom Support: Guaranteed 40-hour work week: When no client is present or a client session is canceled, the RBT will provide support to the child care classroom, including: Assisting with classroom activities and routines.Holding ratio for breaks.Providing general supervision and care to children.Supporting children with developmental delays or challenging behaviors.Maintaining a safe and positive learning environment. Professional Development: Maintain and renew RBT certification through ongoing professional development activities.Attend team meetings, supervision sessions, and in-service trainings as required.Stay current on best practices in ABA therapy and early childhood education.Work collaboratively with teammates and have a positive attitude.
