RN Cardiac Neuro Telemetry Needed in Sanford, FL.

This position is with a progressive, financially stable Hospital System.

Salary and Benefits

• Hourly Rate - $30.45 – $34.52 (5 Years of experience)- $38.65 (10 years of experience)- $44.24 (17+ years of experience)
• Sign-on Bonus 15k
• Night Shift Differential: $4.50
• Weekend Shift Differential: $1.50
• Shifts: Days and Nights (rotating weekends)

Responsibilities

• Observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care.
• Health teaching and counseling for the ill, injured, or infirm.
• Promotion of wellness, health maintenance, and illness prevention.
• Administration of prescribed medications and treatments by authorized practitioners.
• Caring for patients in a 27-bed unit with a focus on Med/Tele Neuro & Cardiac, Post CAB, MIs/Chest pain, etc.
• Priority on patient safety and satisfaction.

Requirements

• Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred.
• 1 + yrs OF RECENT RN acute care experience required. Telemetry and Cardiac experience required

• If a candidate has 3 or more years of experience as an RN and if they have their compact license (They’ll still need to apply for the FL license), we can consider and move forward.

• If a candidate has less than 3 years of RN experience, they’ll need to take the NCLEX in FL, and once they pass, we can consider (This is if candidates do not have a FL RN License)

• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS Certification.
• NIHSS Certification must be obtained within 30 days. Required to work under NIHSS credentials RN until the training certificate is obtained.
• Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
• Critical thinking, service excellence, good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills.
