What You'll Do - Supervise and coordinate the activities of road striping crews to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects.
- Plan and oversee all phases of striping operations, including layout, preparation, application, and cleanup.
- Operate and maintain striping equipment as needed to assist the team.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, traffic control measures, and OSHA standards.
- Travel out of town for extended periods as required to oversee projects and ensure their successful completion.
- Train and mentor team members, fostering skill development and safety awareness.
- Conduct pre-project site inspections to determine requirements and plan resources.
- Monitor project progress, addressing challenges, and ensuring quality control.
- Maintain accurate project records, including materials used, time logs, and progress reports.
- Communicate regularly with clients and upper management to provide updates and address concerns.
- Perform equipment inspections and arrange for maintenance or repairs as necessary.
What You'll Need To Succeed - Drivers License Required, must be 25 with 5 years driving experience, and a clean MVR
- Proven experience in road striping, construction, or a similar field (supervisory experience preferred).
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, project specifications, and traffic marking plans.
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining striping equipment.
- Willingness to travel extensively and remain out of town for project durations.
- Familiarity with traffic control guidelines and industry safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Physical stamina to perform duties outdoors in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds.
