NYCSBUS (NYC School Bus Umbrella Services Inc.) is a not-for-profit corporation that provides school bus transportation services to New York City public and private school students, the majority of whom have Individualized Educational Programs. It operates approximately 800 school bus routes throughout all of NYC with a staff of approximately 1,800 people from six locations with a budget of $190 million. NYCSBUS goal is to radically improve student bus transportation by innovating in all areas and providing unprecedented transparency in bus operations to school districts that outsource this service.
$23.97 HOURLY with a $5000 SIGNING BONUS PAID WITHIN YOUR FIRST YEAR!
NEW YORK STATE COMMERCIAL DRIVER'S LICENSE (ANY CLASS) WITH A PASSENGER AND STUDENT ENDORSEMENT REQUIRED.
Full-Time Employment
$500 Referral Bonus for any and all new CDL Drivers you bring in and are hired!
$5,000 hiring bonus

Must be at least 21 years of age
Must possess or obtain a valid Commercial Drivers license, with both student and passenger endorsements
Must qualify following criminal and driving history checks in accordance with Federal, State and local guidelines
Must be able to pass, both upon initial employment and every two years a Department of Transportation physical examination per District guidelines
Must be able to read and comprehend the Rules and Regulations Governing the Operation of School Transportation Vehicles
Must satisfactorily complete the NYCSBUS training program and driving test
Must attain an acceptable score on written examination pertaining to school bus laws and regulations
Must acquire and maintain a standard Red Cross first aid certificate
Must pass drug and alcohol and Department of Motor Vehicle report screenings prior to employment; with a valid state license or ID
