We are looking for an individual who can provide bartending support at our relaxing, outdoor poolside bar. Al fresco enjoyment of the beautiful Nashville scenery from the 7th floor pool deck, this role will have the opportunity to make a stellar mark on both guests and residents who visit. Charm, quick rapport, and expert craftsmanship will make a successful candidate for this role.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

- Provide exceptional knowledge of beverage selection, specialty offerings, and information regarding preparation methods

- Ensure each guest is greeted promptly, courteously, graciously with eye contact, and a smile

- Provide guests, residents, and servers with quick and efficient beverage service, following the state and city alcohol law while adhering to Four Seasons standards of service

- Have complete working knowledge of all products served by the bar and ensures that all the details of service are performed properly and that every guest receives the highest quality of service

- Display impressive salesmanship in guiding guests through menus and maximizing revenue with upsell opportunities

- Maintain high level of cleanliness, organization, and stocking at the bar

- Properly and accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks or complimentary meals

- Breakdown, clean and set-up of bar and surrounding tables

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

- At least 1 year bartending experience, in a luxury environment preferred

- Ability to work inside and outside while servicing the Pool area. Subject to all weather conditions including sun, wind, and rain

- The Bartender position requires continuous standing for up to 8 hours a day and requires the ability to lift up to 50lbs

- Knowledge of Nashville and surrounding areas, highly desirable, however not required

- Preferred experience in a luxury hotel or resort

- Must be flexible with schedule- Able to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays shifts

- Strong oral presentation skills 

- Ability to carry and balance a tray. Ability to accurately process cash and credit card transactions

- Ability to multi-task in a high volume and demanding environment

- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to handle difficult situations and guests

- Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
