We are seeking a highly vigilant and dedicated Security Officer to join our esteemed team in the Security and Investigations team. The ideal candidate is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. This role is critical in maintaining a secure environment and mitigating risks posed by potential threats or breaches. As a Security Officer, you will monitor and patrol the assigned areas, enforcing rules and regulations, and communicating effectively with other team members and management. The ability to respond swiftly and appropriately to emergencies is paramount. Additionally, you will be tasked with conducting regular inspections, maintaining accurate records, and reporting incidents as needed. The position requires a proactive approach to identify risks and implement appropriate safety measures. A strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and professionalism is essential, as you will serve as a visible deterrent to crime and respond to any incidents that may occur. Working in a dynamic environment necessitates flexibility and a commitment to upholding high security standards. Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Enforce rules and regulations, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
• Respond to security alarms and investigate disturbances or emergencies in a timely manner.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and grounds to ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities for management review.
• Provide assistance to visitors and employees, offering directions and information as needed.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary to enhance security measures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in security management preferred.
• Reliable transportation and driver's license in good standing.
• Previous experience as a Security Officer or in a similar role within the Security industry preferred.
• Strong observational skills and ability to identify potential risks or threats.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse individuals.
• Ability to react calmly and efficiently in emergency situations and make quick decisions under pressure.
• Familiarity with security equipment, surveillance systems, and emergency response protocols.
• Veterans and bilingual preference points.
• No prior DUI, felony, or violent convictions.
