Job Description

Our client is hiring for a Senior Accountant to join their  nonprofit outsourced accounting and consulting team.  This role is open due to growth.

Outsourced Accounting is doing operation accounting ( GL, A/P, A/R, reconciliation, month end close ) for multiple clients. This is a fast-paced environment where you will have to juggle multiple items and projects daily. Those who thrive here are hard workers, efficient, and problem solvers.

Compensation:  $90,000 to $100,000

Responsibilities / Duties

• Responsible for month end closing processes including approval of journal entries, account reconciliations and supporting account analysis.
• Produces timely and accurate financial statements, compliant with generally accepted accounting principles, meeting corporate reporting requirements.
• Participates in or directs the development of accounting policy and administers approved internal controls, accounting procedures and workflows.
• Manages operational data and ensuring data integrity/accuracy, developing proper documentation, internal control and troubleshooting procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA license is preferred
• 3-6 years of Accounting/Finance experience
• Prior experience working with Nonprofit or Commercial industry
• Mixture of public accounting and corporate accounting experience
• Desire to be in fast growth environment and in a high visibility position
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and or Finance
