Job Description

Job Title: Senior Accountant
(5 Years Minimum Experience)

Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Reconcile sub-ledger balances to general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and publish timely financial statements.
• Assess internal controls, conduct risk assessments, and review high-risk areas.
• Perform monthly analyses of balance sheets, income statements, and budget variances.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closings of financial accounts.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable to maintain accurate records.
• Ensure timely execution of bank payments and financial obligations.
• Compute taxes and prepare accurate tax returns in compliance with regulations.
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements to reflect financial performance.
• Monitor and report on the company's financial health and liquidity.
• Audit financial transactions and documents to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and perform regular database backups.
• Adhere to financial policies and regulations in all accounting activities.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and management.
• Perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance (required).
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience (required).
• Strong understanding of financial statements and reporting.
• Proven ability to manage accounts payable, receivable, and tax preparation.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
• Capable of managing competing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
