any of the Universities of Wisconsin, log in to Jobs Hub to apply through the internal application process.Job Category:University StaffEmployment Type:Temporary (Fixed Term)Job Profile:Stagehand TEJob Summary: The Stage Hand Tech II supports all technical elements of Wisconsin Union Theater\'s season and events, including the Midwest\'s longest running Classical Concert Series, Jazz Series, Theater, Dance, music, as well as various department, student and community rentals. Stagehand Technician II will work closely with the Wisconsin Union Theater\'s Production Manager and Technical Directors to execute successful events in Wisconsin Union Theaters two main venues, Shannon Hall and The Play Circle, and supporting occasional events at Hamel Music Center and Jazz Fest on the Memorial Union Terrace each summer. The Tech II position is responsible for maintaining working light plots in both venues, training new stagehands on how to use the lighting consoles, lighting theater season events, and working with touring productions to incorporate their vision into either theater space.Key Job Responsibilities:Department: TheaterCompensation: \$20.00 per hour -Plus an additional \$2.50 per hour for night hours worked (6pm-6am). -Plus an additional \$0.80 per hour for weekend hours worked. (Saturday & Sunday) -Plus Time and a half per hour for hours worked on designated legal holidays.Required Qualifications: -Three or more years of experience in a theatrical event-based field -Ability to operate, prepare, maintain, and repair a wide variety of theatrical equipment and technology, including but not limited to ETC, Digico and Christie -Ability to program EOS base lighting control and Qlab show control software -Ability to maintain a flexible schedule -English ProficiencyPreferred Qualifications: -Working knowledge of Digico routing software and offline editor, experience with Serrapid systemsEducation: High School Diploma- preferredHow to Apply: Submit cover letter and resume, that includes your experience with the qualifications required and preferred.Contact Information: Rod Rotar [email protected] /...
