Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Tax Preparer in Honolulu, Hawaii. Operating from our office, the successful candidate will be tasked with handling individual income tax preparations. This role is pivotal in maintaining our service standards and requires someone with experience in using various tax software, particularly Ultra Tax. Responsibilities: - Processing individual income tax returns with precision - Utilizing Ultra Tax software to assist in the preparation of tax returns - Ensuring income tax compliance with all the relevant regulations - Providing excellent customer service, handling inquiries, and resolving issues - Conducting thorough data entry tasks to maintain accurate customer records - Reviewing customer documents for completeness and requesting additional information when necessary - Collaborating with the team to ensure a smooth tax preparation process - Regularly updating customer records and monitoring accounts - Ensuring all tax-related documentation is organized and readily accessible. Requirements Requirements: -Active PTIN required - Previous experience as a Tax Preparer and Active PTIN, demonstrating a strong understanding of tax laws and procedures. - Proficiency in customer service, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong data entry skills with an eye for detail and accuracy - Experience with Ultra Tax software, showcasing the ability to process and prepare tax returns efficiently - Extensive knowledge in preparing income tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws - Familiarity with income tax compliance, interpreting and applying tax laws effectively - Experience in preparing individual tax returns, providing personalized service for clients Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
