Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Web Developer to join our team on a part-time basis (minimum of 15 hours per week). The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in web development principles and a commitment to our mission of supporting organizations that drive global change.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance user-friendly web applications aligned with
  SOULCHI's mission.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new
  features.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure high-quality performance.
• Stay updated on emerging web technologies and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a web developer with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks (e.g., React,
  Angular).
• Familiarity with back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, PHP) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• WordPress Proficient 
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Passion for social impact and alignment with SOULCHI's mission

Equity-Based Compensation Opportunity:

As part of the SOULCHI team, you'll take part in our equity-based compensation model, aligning your success with the success of our business. After much research we have found the fairest equity model for a startup. We use the Slicing Pie model. First phase is equity-based only, which we are currently in. Equity calculations move dynamically based on your fair market rate and actual number of hours worked. In the second phase, which happens at the break-even point, the equity freezes at each member's current earned percentage and compensation switches to salary + benefits. Your equity percentage gets paid out annually as part of the profit sharing. This is more than a job; it's an opportunity to own a piece of the future.
