Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Hospice (Nights)

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 12hour night shifts 36 to 48 hours per week rotating weekends

Pay Rate: $32.00 per hour (allinclusive)

Overtime: additional $7/hr after 40 hours per week

Holiday Rate: $7/hr additional

Position Overview:
we are seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for its Hospice House a small inpatient facility with 8 beds. The CNA will provide essential care to patients in a hospice setting assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing dressing meal assistance and other personal care tasks. The position requires providing emotional and physical support to hospice patients and their families during this critical time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing dressing grooming and meal assistance.
• Provide comfort and care to patients in a hospice setting ensuring their dignity and quality of life.
• Monitor patients vital signs report changes to the nursing team and assist with repositioning as needed.
• Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of patient rooms and help with basic housekeeping tasks.
• Assist with the documentation of patient care in the EMR system (Meditech).
• Collaborate with the hospice care team to deliver holistic patientcentered care.

Qualifications:

• Education: Active Wyoming CNA license required.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNA preferably in an acute care or hospice setting.
• Certifications:
  • BLS/BCLS certification required.
• Other Requirements:
  • Ability to work 12hour night shifts including rotating weekends.
  • Must adhere to the 100mile radius rule; travelers must not have a permanent address within 100 miles of the facility.

Additional Information:

• This is a contract position with a quick start.
• The facility uses Meditech for electronic medical records (EMR).
• Holiday coverage is required.
• No call or oncall responsibilities.
• Overtime available after 40 hours worked per week.
