Job Description: As a Barista at Perks Cafe, you will be responsible for crafting delicious beverages, providing outstanding customer service, and maintaining the highest standards of coffee excellence. You’ll be part of a team that prides itself on creating a welcoming atmosphere and building lasting relationships with our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso drinks, following recipes and customer specifications.
• Operate coffee brewing equipment with precision and care.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee bar and seating area.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies.
• Engage with customers, take orders, and handle payments.
• Educate customers about our menu and make recommendations based on their preferences.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on coffee trends and techniques.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Barista or in a similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and equipment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• A passion for coffee and a willingness to learn.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
