We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to lead and oversee all financial operations within our organization. This role is pivotal in driving accurate accounting practices, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting strategic decision-making. Based in Sacramento, California, the Controller will work closely with senior leadership and department heads to enhance performance and operational efficiency. Responsibilities: - Manage all financial operations, including accounting, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll processes. - Develop and maintain comprehensive financial systems and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards. - Prepare daily, monthly, and annual financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders. - Oversee audit processes and ensure smooth interactions with regulatory bodies. - Work alongside senior leadership to support strategic business decisions and improve overall company performance. - Provide financial guidance to enhance operational efficiency across various departments. - Partner with human resources and IT teams to integrate financial functions effectively. - Analyze financial data to identify trends and support long-term planning. - Ensure timely and accurate reporting to senior leadership, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders. Requirements - Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management or related roles. - Proficiency in NetSuite and other financial reporting tools. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and compliance requirements. - Demonstrated ability to prepare detailed financial reports and analyses. - Ability to identify cost optimization opportunities and drive operational improvements. - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
