Job Description

Salary: $67,000 - 95,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Over 3 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering emphasizing endpoint security
• Practical experience with AV and EDR platforms (e.g., CrowdStrike, Sentinel One, Microsoft Defender)
• Familiarity with CAASM tools and vulnerability management solutions (e.g., Tenable, Qualys)
• Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux endpoint systems
• Understanding of incident response procedures and threat detection methodologies
• Excellent analytical and communication abilities
• Preferred: Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+)
• Preferred: Experience with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python)
• Preferred: Exposure to SIEM platforms and their integration with endpoint tools

• Implement and sustain enterprise-level AV and EDR solutions across all endpoints
• Set up policies, rules, and alerts to maintain an optimal security posture
• Oversee and troubleshoot endpoint security tools for performance and compliance
• Execute regular vulnerability scans and assessments
• Partner with IT and application teams to resolve identified vulnerabilities
• Maintain dashboards and reports for vulnerability management
• Incorporate CAASM tools to identify and manage all assets in our environment
• Ensure precise asset inventory and prioritize risks
• Investigate and respond to endpoint security alerts and incidents
• Conduct root cause analyses and propose preventative strategies
• Utilize SIEM tools such as Splunk for investigations
• Establish and uphold endpoint security standards and practices
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and organizational security requirements
• Identify opportunities for automating repetitive security tasks
• Enhance configurations for performance and security efficiency
