We have been engaged by a 500+ bed Level 1 Academic Medical Center in Texas to find an Emergency Room Manager.
This hospital is part of a much larger parent company with over thirty hospitals nationwide. This system includes Academic Medical Centers, over 4,000 licensed beds, and $4 Billion dollars in revenue. I have placed with this system several times and can tell you all about their growth opportunities (they plan to DOUBLE in size in the next decade), mission, and values!
This Emergency Room Manager will have site of two offsite Emergency Rooms: one location has 36 beds and the other has 7 beds. This manager will have a total of 120 FTEs. They will report up to the Emergency Room Director, who is described as someone that has a people first approach and a servant leader. They are wanting someone with a strong understanding of operational excellence within the ER.
