Job Description

TFG Charitable Supply and Foundation supports other nonprofits/organizations by giving them donated items, monetary donations and volunteers to other nonprofits/organizations. These donated resources are then used by those nonprofits/organizations to meet the needs and enhance the quality of life of the community. Donated items are first processed through our retail store, which then gives whatever cannot be sold to the Charitable Supply. However, before donations can be given to other nonprofits, they must be sorted and packed into boxes for safe storage in the warehouse. This is where volunteers come in.\

TFG is seeking volunteers willing to work in a warehouse setting separating out clothes, household goods, linens, and other goods. Volunteers will also help count items and pack them into boxes.\
Volunteers must be able to attend a training session and be able to lift a minimum of 20 lbs. The warehouse will be open Mondays-Thursdays from 9:30 AM to 5 PM. Scheduling is flexible although we do ask that you will be available to work for at least 2 hours on the days you are able to come in. Masks and closed-toe shoes must be worn at all times in the warehouse. Gloves and other PPE will be provided. Social distancing guidelines will be practiced.\

Previous volunteer/work experience is not necessary. Familiarity with warehousing is beneficial but not required.\
