Job Description

We are seeking a remote Senior Mechanical Engineer with 15+ years of experience to join our team. This role is ideal for a highly skilled, self-sufficient problem solver who can manage projects independently while providing mentorship to junior engineers and interns. Travel will be required as needed for customer visits and internal reviews.

Duties:
Including but not limited to:

• Lead the design, analysis, and development of mechanical components and systems.
• Perform FEA analysis, preferably using SolidWorks Simulation (other software experience considered).
• Utilize SolidWorks for design work (preferred but not required).
• Oversee and manage multiple projects, ensuring successful execution from concept to completion.
• Provide leadership and guidance to lower-level engineers and interns as needed.
• Communicate effectively with customers, internal teams, and manufacturing partners.
• Apply knowledge of manufacturing processes to optimize design solutions.
• Travel to customer sites and team reviews as needed.

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience in mechanical engineering.
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
• Experience leading projects and managing teams of 4+ engineers/interns.
• Background in manufacturing processes (preferred).
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with customers and internal teams.

Travel:

• Occasional travel is expected of this position.
