Job Summary: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated 5th Grade Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will be passionate about elementary education, committed to fostering a love of learning, and eager to integrate Catholic values into the classroom. The teacher will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment, implementing engaging lesson plans, and collaborating with colleagues to support student success. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student growth. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners. Utilize STEM-based teaching strategies to promote critical thinking and problem-solving. Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments. Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and administration. Support the mission and Catholic identity of the school in all aspects of teaching. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or a related field. Valid state teaching certification/licensure. Experience teaching at the elementary level preferred. Strong classroom management and instructional skills. Commitment to Catholic education and the values of Nativity Catholic School. Ability to integrate technology and STEM principles into instruction. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
